RESCUE!® scientists have the tools to get up close and personal with the bugs... and the know-how to create the most effective products to thwart problematic pests.
We have seven scientists on staff, including three Ph.D.s and experts in fields such as entomology, chemical ecology, electrophysiology and organic chemistry. Our building houses a 4200 square-foot laboratory filled with specialized instrumentation like an Electro Antenna Detector that allows us to read an insect's mind.
Why would a modest-sized company like ours make these expensive investments to create a world-class insect research lab? Because we know there's more science involved in the creation of an effective insect trap than slapping a well-known brand name on a container of apple juice, or selling an empty jar for the consumer to add food as bait.
Insects are complex creatures. It takes much more than apple juice or lunch meat to outsmart them. It takes a scientific knowledge of what makes them tick, buzz and sting. It's this knowledge that has resulted in the premier yellowjacket traps, fly traps and Japanese beetle traps on the market. And it's this knowledge that will power our creation of traps and attractants for even more insect species in the future.
